Fall 2025 Visa Agency Service for International Students

Yonsei OIA will be operating Fall 2025 HireVisa Visa Agency Service (online group application for Korean Alien Registration Card (ARC) and Extension of Period of Stay) to assist foreign students.

1. Undergraduate/graduate degree program students, exchange students, and visiting students are eligible to apply.

3. Alien Registration

- Process: Apply online (https://www.hirevisa.com/yonsei_seoul) > Fingerprint Registration (Expected October at Global Lounge) > ARC Distribution at the end October (expected). *Processing time could be delayed depending on the schedule of the immigration office.

- Expected dates & location of fingerprint registration and ARC distribution: Global Lounge, Baekyang Nuri (Sinchon Campus), date will be announced once decided.

- It is mandatory for all foreign students to apply for the Alien Registration Card within 90 days from their arrival date.

- If you leave Korea before receiving your ARC, your D-2 will be cancelled.

4. Extension of Period of Stay: takes about 6 weeks to complete

- All application process will be notified by e-mail. Please be sure to provide a valid email address and double check when applying (please input an e-mail account other than QQ since it does not work often in our system).

- For any inquiries related to visa, please contact HireVisa through the relevant inquiries link (consultation available in Korean, Chinese, English, and Japanese).

- Students must apply individually by visiting the Immigration Office if he/she does not apply through the group application service (reservation required at HiKorea at https://www.hikorea.go.kr/Main.pt)
