This is 10-week internship offers penultimate year degree students exposure to projects in a fast paced investment banking environment, preparing you for a successful banking career with international opportunities.
We have internship opportunities in the following areas:
Advisory Coverage – these teams originate, develop and execute corporate transactions and capital raising projects for global customers in most major industry sectors. Activities include mergers and acquisitions, divestures, joint ventures and financial restructurings.

You’ll be constantly learning about the products and services across our international network, and seeing how we use our strengths to connect our corporate, government and institutional clients to mature and emerging markets to improve their financial performance.

Learning, development and support

An induction will give you an overview of HSBC, our business and culture, and how Global Banking fits into the overall structure. After this, your placement will provide you with a combination of practical experience and classroom training. This will help you to develop your technical skills and give you a detailed insight into our markets.
At the beginning of your internship, you’ll be set measurable objectives and you’ll receive feedback throughout the 10 weeks.
