Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for you to work as a Finance Senior Associate/Associate where you will be part of a dynamic team based in Seoul.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for a large scope of financial accounting responsibilities, such as preparing month-end closing. You will ensure transactions are booked in appropriate accounts and entities.  In addition, you will be involved in taxation matters such as the preparation of corporate income tax and VAT.  You will coordinate with the local team members on tax returns and tax issues. From time to time, you will assist the team on various ad-hoc requests and projects as necessary.

Qualifications

You will have 1 to 3 years of proven experience within accounting in either a regulated financial institution, a multinational corporation, or an accounting firm.  You should also have a strong understanding of K-IFRS.  You will have strong communication skills and a level of confidence in interacting with local and regional businesses.  Fluency in English and Korean is essential.  You will be required to work independently, as well as being a strong team player.  It is important that you also have strong PC skills in Excel.
