Vacancy Notice for Position of PSP IG Assistant (Donor Retention)

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Representation in the Republic of Korea is inviting applications a position of PSP IG Assistant (Donor Retention) in line with the long-term growth plan of the private sector fundraising program.

 

I. Summary of Position   

The PSP IG Assistant (Donor Retention) will assist the PSP Associate (Donor Retention & Development) to develop and implement donor service program for providing satisfactory experiences to donors of UNHCR Korea.

 

II. Duties and Responsibilities

1. Assist in analyzing current donor retention program and making a test plan to optimize donor journey.

2. Send out donor communication messages and materials to donors according to each donor journey and segment.

3. Create donor communication message to be used in telephone script, direct mail, e-mail and text message.

4. Research donor communication materials (i.e. story, photo, video, etc.) and translate them into Korean.

5. Assist in planning and conducting donor event.

6. Respond to inquiries and requests from donors professionally.

7. Perform necessary administrative work required for donor retention and development.

 

III. Required Qualifications  

1. Completion of University degree in preferably Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related fields.

2. In lieu of degree, minimum 1 years of relevant work experience.

3. Work experience in donor/customer relationship management, marketing, communication, or fundraising are preferred.

4. Fluency in Korean and English (both written and spoken)

 

IV. Duration of Contract 

Six-month probationary period with a possibility to extend contract on a yearly basis depending upon her/his satisfactory performance

 

V. Recruitment Schedule

1. Application submission: Thursday, 23 September 2021 ~ Wednesday, 6 October 2021

2. Notification of selected candidates: Thursday, 7 October 2021 ~ Wednesday, 13 October 2021

3. Interview with tests: Thursday, 14 October 2021 ~ Wednesday, 20 October 2021

* Interview will include English test.

4. Announcement of final selection: October 2021

5. Scheduled first working date: November 2021

*The above recruitment schedule may be adjusted and if necessary, scheduled first working day may be negotiated for the selected candidate.
