1. Job Title: Inventory Planning Specialist

3. Job Summary:

This incumbent is responsible for setting up inventory management strategy along with parts demand planning in order to achieve the best parts service level. Monitor the team keeps the optimized inventory level with minimum stock holding cost to ensure that healthy inventory structure is maintained. Should continuously seek opportunities to run an optimized working capital within the NSC level. Also manage the stock order ratio to minimize the logistics freight cost. The incumbent is also responsible for coming up with the necessary local product development when there should be local product solution.

4. Main Responsibilities:

• Plan, budget, manage and conduct inventory planning of contractual products in aftersales business.
• Plan and manage parts service level within the company standard in a way that could maximize the parts turnover.
• Continuously seek opportunities to optimize inventory working capital at the group level.
• Plan, budget, manage and ensure optimized inventory structure by minimizing contractual products’ over stocks & obsolete stocks under the circumstances of much more diverse product ranges, higher financial risk against obsolescence, and larger customer demands.
• Monitor and analyze the backorder status to minimize and solve the customer complaints and improve the parts service level. 

5. Requirement/Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics / Business Administration / Industrial Engineering major preferred
• Fluent English & Korean required
• Min. 7 years in Inventory / Parts Business in the automotive industry is required
• Basic knowledge of Inventory management, Understanding about Aftersales Business Operation in imported car industry required
• Mid level of SAP knowledge preferred
