Project Cost Controller (Finance Analyst)

Are you passionate about leveraging your finance and cost control skills to contribute to Korea’s green energy footprint? Macquarie’s Offshore Wind project team in Korea continues to grow and is currently hiring a Cost Controller (Finance Analyst).

Reporting to the Project Finance Lead, one of your key responsibilities will be the project’s payment process i.e. ensuring the collection of invoices and bills received as well as their timely payment as per the conditions in the contracts. You will monitor progress in payment and coordinate with internal contract owners to reconcile if these are in line with a progress in work deliverables. You will also prepare Payment Request Form as per invoices received and prepare the payment via bank portal.

Additionally, you will assist the Finance Lead with other accounting, financing, and funding activities and other finance functions and related jobs assigned from time to time. Last but not least, you will prepare corporate secretarial documentations including preparing Court registration of board of directors’ meetings and shareholders’ meetings.

To excel in this role you will hold a Bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting along with 1-3 years’ experience in Finance or Procurement department with a developer or project office. The position requires strong Excel skills, while experience in Oracle / The Zone / SAP will be considered a plus. You will drive your performance with strong communication skills in Korean and English, as well as a sharp acumen in dealing with numbers and precise details.
