Investor Relationship Intern

Purpose of Position

Reporting to the Associate/Analyst for Investor Relationship in South Korea, the position will support fund raising activities relating to the relationships and prospects in Korea and client/prospect events. Being part of the team, the candidate will be able to gain an understanding of the overall private equity and infrastructure industry from a top-down perspective from investment to fund raising, and the experience in global top-tier managers could potentially lead to a successful career trajectory in finance.

The role will require to work with various teams in London head quarter such as Operations Team and Investment Team on the collation and analysis of a wide range of data points from around the Firm, to be delivered by succinct and comprehensive written and oral communication to the end client, prospect or consultant.

Key responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

• Research on private equity/infrastructure industry and GP universe
• Creating case studies for private equity/infrastructure investment
• Supporting the handling of information requests from existing clients and prospects
• Assist with Associates and Analyst on a daily basis with projects and other ad-hoc tasks
• Depending on performance, the candidate may also be invited to investor meetings.

Knowledge and Experience Required:

• Knowledge of the M&A deals, asset management, or private equity industry is preferable, but not a pre-requisite
• Ability to communicate succinctly and comprehensively
• Ability to multi-task under tight deadlines/under pressure with minimum supervision
• Attention to detail, with the ability to problem-solve and strong analytical skills
  • Strong relationship building and influencing skills with judgement and intuition to evaluate people
• Excellent written and verbal skills in English and Korean
  • Proficiency with computers and software packages
