KEY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES (5 major responsibilities, list most important first)

Reporting to the Head of BD & Strategy Korea, his/her roleis responsible for driving the acceleration of the company’s global growth strategy.

Develop an expansive view of the healthcare landscape across markets and identifying growth opportunities through market development, BD and/or services and solutions offerings and new go to market models. 

• Help develop and execute on an overall Korea strategy that includes a portfolio of both existing and new breakthrough growth strategies.
• Work closely with business units to facilitate development and prioritization of their new business strategies and chartering of initiatives.
• Help drive the Growth Council process to identify and prioritize growth initiatives within Korea in close cooperation with business units
• Help conduct Quarterly business reviews of Korea region
• Facilitate Business Development projects within Korea by extensive research and networking 
• Develop and maintain broad knowledge of the medical technology industry, Korea region and Medtronic businesses.  Monitor markets, industries and organizations of potential strategic interest.

REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in biology, finance, engineering, business or a related field.
• Preferably MBA/Master Degree

JOB EXPERIENCE

• 3+ years of total experience in healthcare, finance or a related field or discipline with Bachelor’s degree or 1-3 years with an MBA

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/COMPETENCIES ¹

• 3+ years of relevant experience – having the specific experience as required to fulfill the main duties and responsibilities
• Previous work experience in management consulting, strategic planning and/or healthcare.
