Position Description

Eurasia Group is seeking a dynamic and versatile Southeast Asia associate to join our South and Southeast Asia practice.

In this role, you will analyze how political, security, economic, and geopolitical developments in the region affect the interests and operations of Eurasia Group’s global markets and corporate clients. In addition to regional and country-level dynamics, you will analyze specific sectors and relevant structural reforms, providing clients with value-added insights.

You will have professional experience that reflects strong skills and deep understanding of the coverage countries. Strong written and oral communication skills are essential. Candidates with significant in-country experience in at least one of the priority markets in Southeast Asia—Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, and Vietnam—are preferred, and a relevant advanced degree is required. Fluency in one of the major Southeast Asian languages is an advantage but not essential.

The role will be based in Southeast Asia though there is some flexibility on the exact location—this could be in Singapore or in one of the key emerging markets.
