White Playground is an enterprise software start-up that specializes in Regulatory Technology. The company provides software solutions to banks and financial institutions to comply with Anti-Money Laundering laws & regulations.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as a UI/UX intern to help us create an intuitive design for a smooth and effective user experience. The individual should be highly self-driven and able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

This is a 3 months paid internship with the possibility of turning into a full time position.

Responsibilities

• Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
• Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets
• Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
• Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness, logical flow)
• Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
• Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images

Requirements and skills

• Portfolio of design projects
• Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Adobe XD)
• Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
• Good time-management skills
• Knowledge of HTML and CSS a plus
