Responsibilities

 

Roles : Account Technology & Solution Area Specialist  

 

Account Technology :

Customer, Industry Insights & Sales Execution

  • Generates business insights based on knowledge of the customer's technology landscape, feedback from the customer, and internal teams 

Trusted Advisor

  • Builds and maintains knowledge of Microsoft offerings, as well as of customer business priorities and industry trends to positively articulate the value of Microsoft's offerings in addressing the needs of the assigned accounts and evaluating their business 

Technology Strategy Formulation

  • Provides analysis of overall customer needs, outcomes, and potential blockers, and advises on gaps that would benefit from Microsoft solutions, validating with the broader team.
  • Ensures execution of technology strategy and/or digital transformation by identifying and resolving technical blockers that arise during strategy planning and implementation and driving technology adoption.

Technology Sales: Demand Generation and Orchestration

Differentiated Value Proposition

  • Contributes to technology/transformation with the customer by understanding customer drivers of digital transformation, initiating conversations with customers on digital transformation for assigned accounts, and ensuring line-of-business wins are captured 

Mapping and Account Planning

  • Creates stakeholder maps for accounts, and determines and orchestrates a coverage plan.
  • Builds the bridge between customer business requirements and technology.

 

Solution Area Specilaist : 

Sales Execution

  • Engages in conversations with customers to introduce how other workloads could enable digital transformation areas that is aligned with the customer's industry. Initiates conversations with customers on digital transformation in a solution area, in collaboration with partners and services. Shares learning on digital transformation through seminars, workshops, webinars, and direct engagement. 

Scaling and Collaboration

  • Collaborates with One Commercial Partner (OCP) and with a network of partners to cross-sell and up-sell products, solutions and services. Identifies new partners by researching and discussing with partners on customer scenarios. Develops joint proposal with partners. Implements partner strategies to scale the business. 

Technical Expertise

  • Researches competitor products, solutions, and/or services and collaborates with the 'compete' global black belts (GBB) to implement strategies to position Microsoft against competitors in customer communication.

 

Sales Excellence

  • Collaborates with partners and resources and learns about customer business. Supports senior team members to explore business and emerging opportunities.
  • Collaborates with extended sales team, partners, and marketing to conduct business analysis (e.g., whitespace analysis, identify industry trends) to pursue high-potential customers and develop a target list of potential business.

 

Qualifications

 

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • University graduates from MBA Degree
    • For MBA: Have less than 7 years combined (full-time) professional work experience Looking for Candidates who can join us by Oct 2022 
  • Bachelor's Degree OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field or internship experience involving technology solutions, practice development, architecture, consulting, and/or cloud/infrastructure technologies
    • OR equivalent experience OR Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure).
  • Passion for the technology and innovation
  • Seeks opportunities to learn new methods, procedures or techniques
  • Evaluates & builds solutions based on customer perspective
  • Good understanding of the relationship between technology and business
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Takes responsibility and holds others accountable for actions, decisions, and goals

  • Ability to influence, inspire and lead from any role
