Analyst Intern

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

You will be based in Seoul and will be part of a client team for 8~12 weeks. You'll work as part of a client project team, collaborating with colleagues and clients to solve their toughest business problems.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

You’ll work in teams of typically 3-5 consultants, playing an active role in all aspects of the client engagement. 

You’ll gain new skills and build on the strengths you bring to the firm. Analysts interns receive exceptional training as well as frequent coaching and mentoring from colleagues on their teams.  

In this role you will be given real work and responsibilities, such as gathering and analyzing information, preparing client presentations, helping solve critical issues, meeting client teams, preparing proposals and communications, and presenting findings to client executives. Experienced consultants will provide guidance and coaching and give you a sense of McKinsey people, values, and spirit. Our Analyst Intern program gives a group of undergraduate students first-hand experience with consulting at McKinsey.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate students in 2nd semester of the 3rd year of college or 4th year of college 
  • Demonstrated outstanding academic performance and an aptitude for analytics
  • Strong commitment to excellence and personal and professional growth
  • Strong record of initiative-taking and leadership in a work setting and/or extracurricular activities
  • Genuine interest in business and find problem solving exhilarating
  • Enjoy working in teams
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively – both verbally and in writing – with advanced English and Korean fluency
