Marketing Project Manager - Team Communications

The Role:

Gen.G is looking for the Marketing Project Manager - Team Communications to help our marketing-esports department manage and oversee marketing projects. The ideal Marketing Project Manager should be committed to in-depth knowledge on marketing management for social media and the game & esports industries. You will take part in most marketing activations, including education projects. This candidate should be a motivated, self-starter who can multitask and be trendy in this field.

Job Info:

• Location/Department: Seoul HQ, S. Korea/ KR Marketing Team
• Position Type: FTE, 3 months probation
• Expected Hours of Work: Mon-Fri, 10:00-19:00
• Hire Timeline: ASAP

Main responsibilities

• Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams relating to esports and education projects
• Plan, execute, and oversee esports team’s social media and content deliverables
• Manage marketing for onsite matches
• Look at risks involved for each of the stakeholders and managing stakeholders
• Manage projects and make sure they are delivered on time and with the expected quality
• Manage partners, media relations, and develop key messaging and strategy
• Proactive involvement in all marketing activations including but not limited to communications marketing, content, and social media

Key Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a marketing, esports or service related field
• Understanding of the esports industry, teams, and community
• Understanding of social media (twitter, instagram, tiktok), youtube, and discord
• Ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously, work independently and as a team
• Up to date on industry trends and able to stay ahead of the curve
• Excellent organizational and project management skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Great multitasker and capable of simultaneously managing multiple projects
• Superior written and verbal communications skills in Korean and English
• No disqualification to travel abroad

Highly Preferred Qualifications

• Working experience in public relations is a plus
• Passion for games and esports

• 프로젝트를 관리하고 기한 내에 예상된 품질로 완수하도록 진행
• 홍보 파트너 및 미디어 관계 관리하며 주요 메시징 및 전략 개발
• 홍보 마케팅, 콘텐츠 및 소셜 미디어를 포함한 모든 마케팅 활동에 참여

자격 요건

• 마케팅, 이스포츠, 서비스, 등 동종업계 업무 3년 이상 경력
• 이스포츠 산업과 팀 및 커뮤니티 이해도가 있는 자
• 트위터와 인스타그램과 같은 소셜 미디어, 유튜브, 틱톡, 디스코드, 등에 대한 이해도가 있는 자
• 여러 프로젝트를 동시에 관리하고 독립적으로 또는 팀으로 일할 수 있는 자
• 뛰어난 조직 및 프로젝트 관리 기술과 마감일을 맞출 수 있는 능력
• 동시다발적으로 진행되는 프로젝트 관리 및 멀티태스킹이 가능한 자
• 한국어와 영어로 서면 및 구두 의사소통 능력이 뛰어난 자
• 해외여행에 결격 사유가 없는 자
